One chance crime in Abuja requires ruthless action and not just promises!

If I emerge as the senator representing Abuja in 2027, I will push to enact the FCT TRANSPORT SAFETY ACT.

This bill will make Abuja a hostile territory for criminals, by turning genuine riders into vigilant partners, I will push to reclassify on chance crime as terrorism, life sentence for these criminals and all assets forfeiture.

The bill will introduce a mandatory real-time GPS linked to a dedicated one-chance team under FCT transport commission for all commercial vehicles, ban unregistered taxis/keke, 10yr jail for operators without tracking.

We will also introduce undercover sting operations by deploying plainclothes police/FCT task force as decoy passengers to hunt down one chance gangs. And we reward informants with cash for verified tips.

Also the bill will create a 24/7 Rapid Response Squad dedicated to track any alarm raised .

Finally we will work with the minister of FCT to tackle hailing and carry out massive one-chance public awareness via billboards and #AbujaNoChance on social media.
