At this point, I have deleted most of my tweets. Some automatically with Tweet Delete. Some manually. I'll probably leave a few up. I don't plan to delete the account. I'll probably still visit on occasion & like some things now & again. But mostly, I'm done.
@GoSquirrels Thoughts on 1st CarMax Park visit: 1) overall, nice park. 2) food well organized & what they have is OK, but no brats?! Not to mention, no Big Dill. 3) having the ushers prevent people from returning to their seats during an AB is stupid, & they're not good at it.
The arguments behind every landmark Supreme Court ruling have never been freely available to the public… until now.
Thanks to a gift from the Wolf Law Library at William & Mary Law School, more than 125,000 #SCOTUS records & briefs are now freely freely available on the Internet Archive, spanning 1830 through 2019. The arguments that shaped America, including Brown v. Board of Education. Loving v. Virginia.

NEW: The Trump admin argument that masks "are for officer safety reasons" is actually an admission.
Tom Homan highlights how secrecy aims to block accountability, the immoral lawlessness at the core of the Trump administration.

Screw @bariweiss's bad faith debate about #feminism - and the right wing brown-nosing that led @BankofAmerica to sponsor it. Jessica Valenti has it right: https://t.co/JJzOgut3UY
'Rankings have plummeted... graduation and retention rates have fallen since the takeover in 2023...New College [now] spends more than 10 times per student what the other 11 members of the State University System spend.' Sounds like a plan. https://t.co/F65aDEc1OB
I agree with @DrJenGunter. This is bad faith, rage-bait, "just asking questions" nonsense, and you should get your name off of this one, @BankofAmerica.
Shame on @GeorgeMasonU for embracing @BobMcDonnell revisionism. He used his office to profit personally. The fact that #SCOTUS justices who do likewise (& who are engaged in a long-term judicially activist project to undermine public #corruption laws) let him off is no excuse.
Hey @gobrightspeed @BrightspeedHelp, when your customer's Internet service goes out completely, do you view it as acceptable to tell them that you'll visited in a MONTH?
Less than 500k voted in #VAprimary. That rounded up number is 7.98% of Virginia's ~6.263 million registered voters. (Total per ELECT as of 4/1/2025.)
@SenatorHashmi is leading unofficially by ~3500 votes, which is 0.056 percent of Virginia voters.
Absurd & terrible system.
A top two / jungle primary is my first choice. Ranked choice voting second. The current system - picking a statewide candidate based on who wins slightly closer to 27% of a tiny party primary turnout - is absurd and terrible. #VAprimary
RFK Jr. went on national TV and spouted egregious, dangerous falsehoods about vaccines. As a parent and infectious diseases doctor, I couldn't stay silent. @FoxNews might not fact-check him, but I will. I've reviewed the trials. I've catalogued them. I have receipts. 🧵
At @opengovva#Access2025 conference today. Fun location in Harrisonburg. Interesting start, hearing about the very limited regulation of animal research federally, as well as lack of #transparency in Virginia and elsewhere.
@UniversalORL Except that booking through your phone team won't allow linking the reservation to my online account. What century are your systems from?
@vpapupdates As a @vpapupdates donor and believer in their data-driven mission, it continues to be extremely disappointing to me to see VPAP still pushing this non-transparent, misleading data visualization. Enough with cozying up to the horse race and consultant algorithms. @runrdadrva
