But - to be fair - the assault on Iran is still in my mind a defensive battle - an attempt to cut off the financing of the terror regimes that are constantly churning and rebuilding towards actions of and similar to those taken on 10/7.
And he really campaigned (and won the election) on Domestic policy - only to be thrust into the most foreign-affairs-focused presidential term since FDR's second term. Ironically, Gore's campaign spoke to his experience in foreign affairs, and I believe that did not resonate as well with many americans as the domestic policy focus.
Same boat, and though it's important for me to qualify that (unsurprisingly), these interactions did not always mean that we agreed on what was happening in the middle-east...
In spite of that, all of these interactions included two parties going out of there way to be calm and collected. I'd rate each of them 10 out of 10, would interact again if our paths crossed.
This fine gentleman snuck into my algorithm's feed surreptitiously, and when I called out his behavior as misogynistic, he wrote this in response and blocked me.
