Abnormally cool and wet conditions in August have triggered early poa germination in upstate SC. This is in addition to a few plants that persisted through summer. Consider a POST with a PRE this fall where expectations are high. Happy to help build a program that works for you.

Between the rain, Dr. Kerns team at NC State were discussing a timely concern. Pythium root rot.

Best long term treatment: 3 way tank-mix of sunlight, air movement, and drainage.

When not available - programs with Fame + Serata rotated with Resilia did pretty dang well.

Winter injury on warm-season turf (like this zoysiagrass) is widespread in the transition zone. Weather hasn't been ideal for recovery and affected courses are trying to decide between waiting for turf to heal or resodding damaged areas. Unfortunately, there's no easy answer.

The difference between a fungicide program developed in 2003 on the left and a program developed in 2023. The programs were for bentgrass and these were applied to bermudagrass and bentgrass. Yes modern fungicides have improved!
