@lemonade_grrrl Id be very curious to see the numbers because there is only one Trader Joe's in the whole state of Maine. I wouldn't be shocked if it was the busiest individual store but there are dozens of Hannaford/Shaw's in the state
“To have doctors refuse your care then at the same time tell you your life is in danger is unimaginable.”
Yet another woman, water broke too soon. Was told her pregnancy was no longer viable, and turned away from two hospitals.
The first hospital said the law was not clear enough as there was still a heartbeat.
The second hospital said it was too political.
Hospitals are required to perform life-saving emergency care. Mylissa Farmer’s life was in danger. Abortion is medical care.
Now you have hospitals turning women away because they want to avoid the risk of fines and penalties.
Women’s lives should not be politicized. Women’s lives should not be hanging in the balance depending on zip code.
Women will continue to suffer as long as Republicans have their way. #DemsUnited
