Most people only react to the splash on the surface - they never notice the current underneath it.
That’s where the real danger - and the real truth -usually lives.
I write to make people think again… not just react.
If you’re tired of being told what to believe - you might belong here.

@TheMule1961@kevinblue345 A 'lot' of people getting killed over a weekend in different areas is not the same as a Mass shooting in a School , church, etc. You may not like the terminology but that doesn't change the idea that we will and should label it differently.
I don't know whether that particular claim is true. However, I do know that a number of ingredients and food additives permitted in the United States are banned or more tightly restricted in some other countries because of health concerns or different regulatory standards.
I also know that, in many countries, healthier food options are often more affordable than they are in the United States. That raises an important question: if we truly want people to eat healthier, should nutritious food be the more accessible and affordable choice?
Fifty years ago, abortion was generally viewed as a serious and often difficult decision, not as a routine form of birth control as some argue it has become today.
Consider yourself fortunate.
There is a good chance that if previous generations had approached pregnancy, parenthood, and abortion with the same mindset that some people have today, many of us might not be here having this conversation.
@BernieSanders The message is that people do not know what socialism actually is.
That is on uneducated or desperate people.
Just keep in mind if it becomes law you may have to give up some of your houses and money that you pretend not to have.

Perhaps that is something we should take into consideration when discussing this issue.

That does not mean every pregnancy should be carried to term regardless of the circumstances. Life is rarely that simple. But it does suggest that responsibility, consequences, and the value we place on life should remain part of the discussion rather than being dismissed altogether.

Personally, I support a woman's ability to obtain an abortion when circumstances genuinely warrant it.
However, I also believe that personal responsibility and accountability need to be part of the conversation - therefore abortion may not be a right to be applied no matter what.
Too often, the debate focuses entirely on laws, politicians, courts, or activists while ignoring the choices that lead to many unintended pregnancies in the first place.
If we are serious about reducing abortions, then perhaps we should spend more time discussing responsibility, decision-making, and prevention rather than treating abortion as the only issue.
The housing bill sounds promising, but much of what it proposes will take years before the average American sees any meaningful benefit. That does not help someone struggling to afford a home today.
On the other hand, requiring proof of citizenship to vote could have an immediate effect by helping ensure that one of our most important rights remains as secure and protected as it is intended to be.
@OffThePress1 Trump is not responsible for your State.
Anything wrong is on you and your Governor. It is not a Presidents job to do yours.
Obama, Biden, didn't - so why you talking about this President?
@RepJayapal Do you know that this is one place where MLK held one of his speeches?
Part of History.
Yet you have an issue with Trump wanting to have it presentable on USA birthday?
