I am a Christian and yes, encouraging people to pay tithes so there can be money to help the work of God is good.

But when it because the basis for everything, then it becomes a bargaining chip.

Nothing will happen to your academics if you don’t pay your tithes.

We need to stop these deceptive manipulative strategies that yields no results. There are people who don’t go to church or pay tithes and are extremely successful. How about that?

Let’s preach the Gospel of Grace which provides salvation to people. When people understand the grace of God, paying tithes and offering becomes a habit not an obligation which will require manipulations.
