If you’re capable, responsible, and still feel stuck, this might explain it.
Most people think progress comes from learning more tactics.
In reality, progress stalls when your internal operating system is outdated.
You take on bigger roles.
More pressure.
More expectations.
But you’re still making decisions, setting standards, and judging yourself using rules you picked up years ago.
That gap creates:
overthinking,
inconsistency,
quiet frustration,
and the sense that you should be further along by now.
This isn’t a motivation problem.
It’s a leadership sequence problem.
I put together The Leadership Journey to show how leadership actually develops, stage by stage, and what tends to break at each one.
Not theory.
Not inspiration.
Just clarity around:
where you are,
why certain things feel harder than they should,
and what to focus on next so effort starts compounding again.
If you feel like you’ve outgrown your current way of operating, this is the reset.

Senate Republicans RAMMED through a massive $70B funding bill for Border Patrol and ICE overnight — delivering critical resources to secure the border and enforce immigration laws.
The bill passed by a 52-47 vote after an 18-hour vote-a-rama, providing $38.6B for ICE and $22.6B for Border Patrol to fund operations through the end of President Trump’s term.
@SenMikeLee This is a JOKE, right? You guys have the majority, and this is what you're capable of. There is a reason that the president has to issue all those EOs, you people are useless.
The men who insist they’re “self-made” are usually protecting a story more than describing reality.
They downplay every mentor, every break, every person who carried weight.
The real builders don’t deny the inputs — they select them ruthlessly and own what they do with them.
This is why the lone-wolf myth quietly costs high-achieving men their capacity.

One question: Who are the two or three people you’ve never fully credited for where you are? Name them to yourself.

@OliLondonTV It took him two days to make a statement about what happened. But you’re quick to respond to those outraged about the murder and incompetent response of the police.

@SahilBloom It's important to realize that you can only do what's right for yourself. Everyone else is doing the same thing. Even the advice is coming from an if I were you pov. Like the man said, smile and keep it moving.

Most men spend years trying to find their purpose.
The problem is that purpose isn't usually found.
It's built.
A man without purpose drifts toward whatever is loudest, comfort, distraction, other people's expectations, or the next crisis demanding his attention.
A man with purpose lives differently.
His decisions become clearer.
His standards become higher.
His discipline becomes easier because he knows what he's saying yes to.
Purpose isn't a job title.
It's not a bank account.
It's not a status symbol.
It's the answer to one question:
"What am I willing to organize my life around?"
Once you answer that, everything else starts to fall into place.
The challenge isn't finding purpose.
The challenge is having the courage to live it.

@KonstantinKisin Irronically, he also said he couldn't breathe. This is tragic on so many levels. It's time sanity comes back to our politics, where your skin colour doesn't matter, just the law applied evenly. I feel for his family and their loss. It was avoidable.
