I'm currently preparing an article for the experimental track of @JournalOVI.
That means: The article is a Quarto document on GitHub, deployed via GitHub Pages. You can add collapsible paragraphs, callouts, Shiny widgets, videos, ... sky is the limit.
It's an absolute pleasure!
JoVI has received its first ever submission on its experimental track.
The submission, under review, is available here:
https://t.co/A593gv4q8K
and the reviewing process will be entirely on @github.
Follow it here: https://t.co/4FSIw7lYev
The Journal of Visualization and Interaction (JoVI) is now open for submissions! We provide a unique venue for the fields of #InfoVis and #HCI, supporting pre-registration of research, open review, novel article formats, and diamond open access (no fees!). https://t.co/OY8jVh9wGw
Quick update: JoVI is now a full-blown official journal, with our own ISSN (2794-5502) and DOI prefix (https://t.co/fIEHmxT027), courtesy of Aalborg University press and the Royal Danish Library. 🥳
Super excited to announce that we are partnering with @JournalOVI ! JoVI is a new open community-driven diamond open-access journal (read: no cost to authors) and accepted talks will be invited to submit to a special issue.
