Eurosceptic. Trade makes peace, not political union. Nation first never means nation alone. Loathed by the alphabet people . Fan of #swfc and #ntfc. #F1 fan.
@BladeoftheS He was a UK citizen from birth you numpty.
The upset is mainly that people being welcomed here are then turning on those that helped them.
Also that the Govt is seemingly allowing people to stay who have come from deeply disturbing ways of life and attitudes.
@BritainUnbound@Eddystone506 Pro-EU side relies on the smoke and mirrors of it all, same as had they won in 2016 Osborne's 'emergency budget' would have done it's job.
It's always speculation.
@TerraOrBust@alexwickham@economics Yes it really is time to knock this 4-8% stuff off, Rejoin fanatics must know in any campaign or genuine Govt drive it'll be picked apart.
I always felt Ashoka Mody would have it about right with up to 2% impact short-term just from the change in approach, then take fees off.
@Ipsos_in_the_UK What is it that those wanting to Rejoin desire the most? Are the 18-34 year olds pushing economic reasons or is it FoM driven as I suspect.
@RichardGCorbett So 8% more than the winning side a whole decade earlier.
If the EU was that great and Brexit widely despised wouldn't you expect 70% regularly on polling?
@BritainUnbound Pretty obvious if we did rejoin the EU that UK growth would probably bounce between -1 and +1% and after a year the Rejoiners would move on to something else like how anti-racist it was to have EU FoM back so GDP not a big deal anymore. They'll try anything.
