The term "Hindūism" evolved ( via contact with the others) to refer to a generic umbrella & not an organised religion.

The portrayal u see in this performance is Chinnamastā ( a local acculturated form of Kāli).

Also the form Chinnamastā has syncretic roots from both Hindu-Buddhist Tantra of Ancient to early medieval Bengal.
Chinnamundā was originally a Vajrayana Tāntric deity of Ancient Bengal, later adopted & assimilated within Śakta-Tantra.

Philosophically, the standard portrayal places Chinnamastā over Kāma & Rati, the personifications of desire & sexual union.
The imagery deliberately puts:
sexual union → generation → blood/life → death → nourishment → transcendence
into one visual composition.

This is based on the particular cultural anthropology under which such syncretic Hindu-Buddhist Tāntric roots emerged:
forest communities + hunters + cremation-ground specialists + wandering ascetics + yogins/yoginīs + lower-status occupational groups + village-goddess traditions - basically, among the marginalised groups & out of mainstream society & their esoteric tradns -
The śmaśāna (cremation ground) is esp. important. It was literally a boundary between:
village ↔ wilderness
purity ↔ pollution
life ↔ death
society ↔ outsiders
Tāntric (Vajrayāna or Śākta) practitioners deliberately entered these spaces & transformed their associated substances - blood, corpses, sexuality, death, bodily fluids - into ritual technologies.

Today, in the modern World, that's display of it through "Performative Arts" - this is our rich Indigenous Bengali indigenous "Cultural Capital" where Tāntric roots run deep.

Only those uneducated about our diverse , Pluralist, that too esoteric traditions' history, philosophy, cultural anthropology & Art through their narrow mindedness of either through Internalisation of Victorian Moral Puritanism or Semitic Emulation or Bimaru dehati (or Satvik-sanskari orthodoxy) mentality paradigm wd be feeling ashamed or outraged.

I think Bengal has weaker Zagros than Western Gangetic yet it's culturally beautiful & aesthetical (lacking economy to PR mog is something else)..

Even Kerala has higher AASI yet aesthetical culture (maybe due to the cultural legacy of Nambudiyars). While NEI has neither Zagros nor Sanskritization yet aesthetical. Well, they don't have AASI much too.
Maybe AASI lands that didn't underwent strong Sanskritization nor Zagros but lost to noble savagedom ideologies is what leads to such while Bengal Renaissance was Elite tier.

Successful Industrialisation could potentially transform India's social behaviour, because moving hundreds of millions from low-productivity informal/agricultural work into productive urban & industrial systems changes the entire social environment.

Industrialisation transforms behaviour because it changes the incentives, institutions and daily environment within which people make decisions.
You do not need to consciously teach every individual to become more punctual, mobile, educated or future-oriented. If an economy increasingly rewards those behaviours, they gradually become social norms.

Reservation is just a facade to trap normies under Social Justice etc bs narratives, check what precedent it creates & the outcomes it leads to.

It institutionalises pre-modern modes of production - which were de-facto hierarchical, hereditary & rigid based legal categorisation in the modern state - a true form of divide & rule in it's untamed form.
And the "representation politics" based upon it(they already say reservation isn't about poverty alleviation but about representation, historical injustice, blah blah etc "repent" policy for the original sin of caste system) which is ticket for the emergence of Caste-Mafia Netas to get access to the seat of power under the tag of their XYZ caste/ community representation.
Also the Babus. Both Neta & Babus are worshipped by their specific caste communities as it serves their representation & Communal power play.
Also, Indian Ministers are also given portfolio not based on their credentials but based on their caste/communal representation.

This is the whole reality - so reservation is just a facade to hide that under Sociological narratives.

Israel is an ethno-relg state. Malaysia has an official Religion.
While religion was outlawed in Maoist China (& DPRK even this day) but they were/are poor. Even Bangladesh being more religious is relatively edger than India due to labour intensive manufacturing exports.
People are kept poor by low human capital+ apathetic institutions+ Socialist control/model over economy.

Religion is widely practiced in East Asia/SEA esp as they're ethno-cultural religious to Polytheists (like us).

Only problem is politicization & superstitions.
In Pagan/Polytheists or ethno-relg majority places if superstitions are abolished, while religion protected as voluntary customs/traditions (just it shdn't be Raison d'être of the society) then it becomes quite satisfying as in EA & SEA countries.
(Saying this as a Nirīśvarvādī myself as pagan/Polytheistic traditions are based on local ecology+ Mythology & folklore a civilizational capital).
Also geo-ethno-cultural Mileu based culture & traditions (which have roots in ethnic-religions) with it's regional diversity can become cultural capital & PR mogger(like say Onam in Kerala, similarly for other regions). An Industrialised society with such aesthetic cultural capital is what ideal softpower PR is ...
