@NightShiftMD I'm sorry. It was very hard when my father couldn't remember stories he told over and over every holiday. Your physical presence will bring her comfort, even if who you are or your relationship has been misplaced. Blessings and strength to you.
@Phrick@anoncj1@jerryteixeira @HealthnHacks thanks.
Insulin release is circadian -- higher in the AM, lower in the PM. Earlier fasting window better for people with blood glucose / insulin issues. Also, eating in evening --> insulin spike --> results in peripheral clocks getting out of sync with master clock in the SCN.
@danpincus@NicESpurling@cityofcoquitlam Personally, I think Canada Day celebrations should be cancelled this year and a national day of mourning held instead.
@mrc314 I'm a Dietitian and you're right. I don't heal anyone... BUT I do teach therapeutic nutrition that enables people to put their type 2 diabetes, hypertension and dyslipidemia into remission. Does that count?
@cacophonyYYC as mentioned in the note, there are OTHER factors that good doctors ALSO take into consideration ALONG with blood test results, such as past medical history, lifestyle factors and family risk.
@michaelwoodhci I once had my mind made up about low carbohydrate diets before a physician-friend came to speak with me 6 years ago. The whole idea of different sub-particles of LDL only came to light after many practicing doctors graduated.
