Promoting patient education in #IBD (Crohn's & UC). I help patients tell their stories. In the real world I'm Rachel, an IBD patient advocate. Also at @IBDwomen
What are the costs associated with living with Crohn's disease?
Resharing @Crohnoid's brilliant graphic that captures the financial, emotional, mental and social impact to a patient - "Costing Crohn's".

We're hoping to capture the experience of our #IBD community who use #GLP1a#crohns#ulcerativecolitis to help shape our research. Grateful if you can share ๐ Link and QR code below. We will share the data. @CrohnsColitisR

Have you got #perianal#Crohn's and would you be willing to join an online focus group to help design a possible new research study?
It will be held on Teams on the 11th June at 2 pm. If you would like to join this meeting, please email [email protected]
Anyone else with Crohn's or UC feel that high pollen revs up their bowel motility - irrespective of IBD activity?
It's a yearly pattern for me - I think it goes beyond scorching temperatures alone.
The biopsy result from my recent colonoscopy has confirmed active Crohn's. A great shame after so long in remission, but I shall roll with the punches as I always do.
Will be starting Wezemla, a biosimilar of ustekinumab (Stelara). #IBD
@mimbl360 Hope you get that sorted - will be interested to know the outcome. Yes, very frustrating after 5 years med-free in remission. Thought I was home dry. C'est la vie...
@lizzie60t So sorry to hear you haven't been feeling great - yes, sod's law with the appt, can you get back in touch with them? Hope it's a temporary blip. All good wishes to you!
@sodascone Hi Ian - great to hear from you. How are you? Yes, only my cod theory of course - but I'm sure there's a connection with pollen (though I don't get hay fever).
