“Strike हमारी पसंद नहीं, हालात की पुकार है—अपने हक़ के लिए संघर्ष ही हथियार है!”
“शौक से नहीं, मजबूरी में उठी है आवाज़—हक़ मिलने तक जारी रहेगा संघर्ष आज!”
“जब हक़ की आवाज़ अनसुनी होगी, तब Strike ही हमारी आवाज़ होगी!”

They have classified bankers as “performers” and “non-performers.”
#EqualPLI#5DayBanking
But what about SELF-APPRAISAL? 🤡
If bankers are being judged by performance, let the same yardstick apply to those framing the policy.
Data should decide performance—not labels.

✅Net profit increased manifold.
✅Per staff business jumps to 36 cr.
✅Cross selling sky-rocketed but

Last evening, Social Media was flooded with posts showcasing how much Banks “care” for employees and their welfare.
Less than 24 hours later — employees are asked to report for duty on a Sunday/Holiday.
Welfare on Social Media.
Work on Holidays in Reality. #5DayWeekandFairPLI
I've been active on Social Media for the past 10 years. For the very 1st time, I'm seeing DFS & Finance Ministry & Banks under such pressure on an issue.
Keep going, colleagues. Don’t be afraid. Don’t bow down.
We want the approved 5-Day Banking.
Stay strong. Stay united. ✊
Nation First is not just a slogan for bankers.
It is their daily practice — even when thousands of colleagues paid with their lives.
RBI works 5 days.
LIC works 5 days.
Digital banking has already changed how India transacts.
Yet the people who kept the system running still wait for a fair week.
We have always stood with the nation.
Now the nation must stand with its bankers.#5DayBanking is a right delayed, not a favour requested. Implement it @PMOIndia@FinMinIndia@DFS_India .
FIVE-DAY BANKING: A FAIR AND TIMELY NEED
India’s financial system runs on the commitment of its banking professionals. *During national challenges—from the extraordinary workload during demonetisation to keeping essential banking services operational throughout the COVID-19 pandemic—bank employees stood firmly with the nation.*
They have consistently kept the economy moving when it mattered most.
Today, five-day banking is not merely about an additional day off. It is about modernisation, productivity, work-life balance and recognising the contribution of banking professionals.
*The Indian Banks’ Association submitted the proposal for five-day banking in July 2023. Yet, more than three years later, its implementation is still awaited*.
*We stood with the nation when it needed us most. Now, it is time for the nation to stand with its banking professionals*.
Implement #5dayBanking .
Recognise the contribution.
Respect the commitment.

Banks power India 5 days a week in the demand? No. Bankers ask for 5 Days Banking, with the agreed 40-minute daily adjustment. The proposal has been pending with the Government since the March 2024 settlement. How long must the workforce wait for a settled issue?
