Trying something new. I'm starting on an open source Task Manager iOS app. And I'm outlining the project in a series of blog posts

Final Day of #Muse24
So many useful sessions.

What was everyone’s favorite session from day one of #Muse24?

Sign of the times. The new fail whale:

@zhbrass 12+ years over here. Many moons ago I asked to use the bathroom during a technical interview I was bombing and instead I walked out of the building and never went back.

[Zach Brass @zhbrass]

Dear new iOS devs who are interviewing:

Everyone flubs interviews. Everyone has off days. I’ve been doing iOS for 10+ years and I just flubbed an interview this afternoon. Worse than any in recent memory. It doesn’t determine your worth as an engineer. Or a person. You got this.

Kind of impressed with @ElonMusk's @Twitter this morning. Functionality seems to change minute by minute and browser by browser. Kind of impressed with the fiasco and their silence on it. #TwitterDownStories

@crystallyn That looks awesome. Happy new look.

California needs a warrior in the Senate—to stand up to special interests, fight the dangerous imbalance in our economy, and hold so-called leaders like Mitch McConnell accountable for rigging our democracy.

Today, I'm proud to announce my candidacy for the U.S. Senate in 2024.

@ZevEisenberg @NYTGames Have fun. Will be thinking of you with every app wordle/crossword.

Over the last month, I've built 3 iOS apps.

Before that, I'd never written a single line of code.

So if you are looking to build a coding habit, let me share what helped me.

Here are 7 helpful tips I've learned to keep me on track:

[Jp LaFond @JpLaFond]

@biggsyjm One other useful tip, when searching try to keep your searches to your swift/SwiftUI version, both have changed a lot and there are a lot of old answers in there. Good luck and keep going.

@twostraws Just wanted to give you a data point that may skew things a bit. It was a holiday weekend here in the US (not sure where the bulk of your followers are). I wonder if that may have skewed things from people like me that saw the result, but not the original posts on T or M.

@Gwen_Hernandez So useful for revisions.

I'm going to miss the #Writing and #Swift folks that I've found here and hope to find them either on #Mastodon or the next thing. Please look for me at @[email protected]

I am officially no longer the Engineering Manager for the Accessibility Experience Team at Twitter. I have words. 🧵
