@dmierau Hey, I was using Crankulator today, I was just wondering if it's alright with you if I riff on the idea to have a the inputs be a bit different, more to my preference. Working on a doc of changes/options. Not sure how you'd feel about things.
@hankgreen I saw your video on direct air CO2 Capture. Does direct air capture include biomass burning for electricity and capture the CO2 before it leaves the stack? I always thought that would be most efficient/effective. https://t.co/nKTJZ2YsHX
a fun way to draw a picture from the digits of pi, made from circular arcs.
draw an arc that goes 3/10 of the way around the circle.
Now flip the circle over and continue the curve by drawing another arc 1/10 around, 4/10, 1, 5, 9 etc. following the digits of pi
@FreyaHolmer I'd probably call it the magnitude of acceleration or just absolute acceleration, (taking all the complex components and moving them to the positive real line) not sure if that fits into the standard lingo.
Here's the gist of a beautiful argument Archimedes gave for the surface area of a sphere.
In the YouTube video I did on this, I also described another way to relate this area more directly to a sphere's shadow, which I'll copy on the thread below as a progression of puzzles.
