Hakuna asset class inachanganya wakenya kama special funds
I’ve heard so many conspiracy theories about them.
My comments about special funds;
1. They are not the holy grail of investing. You can get higher returns investing in the stock market, commodities or crypto
2. Yes they are regulated but that doesn’t protect you from capital loss
3. A 20% p.a. return is not unheard off. There are assets like stocks, ETFs, commodities, crypto that can give you higher than that
4. Most of these funds are new so we don’t have historical performance to evaluate performance
5. They are good for any investor looking for above average returns
Forget the other conspiracy theories that your friend is telling you😀
There’s a reason he’s a lawyer and not a finance bro
Most husbands are carrying financial pressure, work stress, family responsibilities and personal problems while everyone assumes they’re fine because they don’t complain.
He still goes to work. He still pays bills. He still shows up for his children.
But inside, he’s exhausted.
Men also need somewhere to put their problems.
Sometimes your husband just needs you to sit beside him and say, “I know things are difficult. We’ll figure this out together.”
Be his support system and he will get the energy to face the world.
There is no need to fear any problem you are working on. If you are working on it, then you are influencing the outcome.
It's the problems you don't address that should concern you.
Fabian Hurzeler: "Results create judgment, but process creates improvements."
Spot on. People focus too much on results, but results can mask poor performances. But focusing on performance will eventually bring results if you remain calm and patient.
The most critical leadership skill is EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE (EQ):
When to speak.
When to be silent.
Whom to speak to and whom to avoid.
The two most important pillars of EQ:
• SELF-AWARENESS
• SELF-REGULATION
The most important foundation of EQ:
• SELF-DISCIPLINE
How a KSh 35,000 Investment Turned Into a KSh 700,000 Monthly Business
“I came back from Dubai with only KSh 35,000 and decided to start farming. Today, my business makes more than KSh 700,000 a month.”
That is the inspiring story Joe shared on Lynn Ngugi’s show, proving that you do not always need millions of shillings or hundreds of acres to make money from farming.
After working in Dubai for years, Joe returned to Kenya and decided to try his hand at agribusiness. Instead of waiting until he had a huge amount of money, he started small with the little he had.
His choice was Dorper sheep.
Joe started Mifugo Falme with about KSh 35,000 and gradually built the business. His story shows how livestock farming can become a serious source of income when you choose the right breed, understand the market and reinvest your profits.
Dorper sheep are popular because they grow relatively fast and produce quality meat. They are also known for their ability to survive in Kenya’s dry and harsh conditions, making them suitable for many parts of the country.
But perhaps the biggest lesson from Joe’s story is not about sheep.
It is about starting small.
Many people keep saying, “I will start a business when I have enough money.” Others believe farming requires hundreds of acres, expensive machinery and millions of shillings.
Joe’s story challenges that mindset.
You can start with a few animals, learn the business, improve your breeding stock and reinvest as the herd grows.
The goal is not to become rich overnight. The goal is to start something that can grow.
Today, according to the story he shared on Lynn Ngugi’s show, Joe’s livestock business generates more than KSh 700,000 in monthly turnover.
His journey is a reminder that sometimes the biggest difference between an idea and a business is simply the courage to start with what you have.
You may not have millions.
You may not own a large farm.
But if you have KSh 35,000, a good plan and the willingness to learn, there may be an opportunity to start small and build.
Don’t wait for perfect conditions. Start small. Learn. Reinvest. Grow.
That is how farming can become more than just a way of life—it can become a business.
Live within your means.
Be content with what you have.
Don't try to live other people's lives.
Don't borrow a loan to buy a car just because a neighbour has a car or because you want to impress people.
Don't buy an M-KOPA phone. Save and buy.
Be at peace with yourself.
When you want to start, start.
Don't wait for a perfect answer. It doesn't exist.
If you want to start, START.
Learn when you fail, iterate when you achieve.
The goal is MASTERY.
The lymphatic system is the body's sewage network.
Unlike the cardiovascular system, it has no pump.
It moves only when you move.
A sedentary lifestyle often produces the following in the lymphatic system:
• Congestion that manifests as puffiness, swollen glands, and sluggish immunity
• Toxin accumulation that the body cannot clear fast enough
• Breast tissue congestion - the lymph nodes under the arm drain the breast
Walk every day. Movement is the lymphatic pump.
Do dry brushing before showering - it stimulates lymphatic flow in the skin.
Wear loose clothing - tight bras and waistbands restrict lymphatic drainage.
A body that moves clears its waste.
I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, "Never play fair in a game where others cheat." It doesn't mean become evil. It means stop being naive. Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they'll throw dirt.
Sometimes wisdom is not revenge.
Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
There are 101 days left until the end of 2026.
You have 1 day left to decide what your next 100 days will look like.
Today, sit, write, plan, and decide what you want to achieve and become at the end of 100 days.
Then start.
This is your life. Don't joke around.
