And to be perfectly honest, I think an ancient Stoic would tell you that you could get those anywhere else. So no, I don’t think the Stoic could justify subscribing to ANY streaming service, let alone the myriad that exist today!

If you were to take an actual ancient Stoic & show them streaming today, they would be astounded. People wasting their time on the concerns of others for the sake of pleasure, paying fees to do so? The only value left would be any moral or technical lessons taken from it.

@ComradeToguro The other day I was stuck behind a semi, & I got to witness someone tailgating me whip around & floor it for about 2 seconds before they realized a semi was also clogging the OTHER lane, then someone started tailgating THAT guy for going slow because of the truck. Simply amazing

@MariaHaskins Lived for a bit in a part of Pennsylvania where a lot of the place names were Welsh. As a result, EVERY road and town name was this sort of test 🤣
