Last year when she heard rumors that NUP was planning to replace her with Zaharah Luyirika, she rushed to come back to Kampala without any sign of being bedridden.

She went to NUP headquarters in makerere kavule for nominations fortunately she was nominated as the flag bearer for NUP on the position of Kampala woman MP.

She attended all NUP campaign rallies within Kampala just to acknowledge her candidature
