The Falcons struggled to generate a consistent pass rush for almost a decade and didn’t have a 10+ sack player since 2016.

They invest two first-round picks on edge rushers in 2025. The return was immediate..James Pearce Jr. and Jalon Walker combined for 16 sacks and the Falcons finished 2nd in the league in sacks with 57 last season.

Just one season later, JPJ will miss the first 8 games and Walker will miss the entire season.
