If Steve Phillips or Omar Minaya were the architect of this team, most #Mets fans would be calling for him to be fired. Yet, because the #Mets architect is David Stearns, there is more of a divide because the latter's process is "advanced."

Bad baseball is bad baseball, no matter the recipe.

This team has a serious lack of depth, poor fundamentals, and, almost on a nightly basis, an ineffective offense that looks overmatched.

Many of us are called "stupid" because we measure success by wins and losses.

We are lectured to (and at), because we don't "understand" and should "trust the process" because it's "bad luck" that the players, coaches, and manager that the POBO hand-picked are not performing at any acceptable level.

The Mets are a bad team. Even when they show signs of life, as they did against the Braves, they take three steps back.

That's what bad teams do.

It's hard to imagine anyone keeping their jobs after two years of terrible baseball. But most insiders believe very little will change, even if the team drops 90-plus games.

There's nothing advanced about that. It's simply unacceptable.
