People would rather judge a book by its cover than read a single page.
Brunson is the exact story that sports fans have been begging the NBA to write for years.
They launched it in their biggest bookstore in NYC and, for four years, nobody could be bothered to pick up a copy.
Unfortunately, The Sequel Trilogy has to contend with the insanity of the click bait social media and online news world + agenda driven garbage from certain 24 hour cable news channels that has convinced many who’ve only seen these movies once that they’re woke garbage terribly made. It’s a tragedy.
@jonathanchait More probably that pistol or Luka blew an assignment on defense. Only way truck has any impact is if he gives up a box out (never happening. Truck was a demon on the boards in his day)
You know what was great about Siskel & Ebert? They didn't spend half of every episode analyzing box office and pretending to be industry insiders. They just watched the movies and talked about their reactions.
Star Wars is dead and fandom culture is entirely to blame for it. This franchise was always patient zero for this phenomenon and it only proves how fickle "giving the fans what they want" actually is as a long term business model. Audiences are too dumb to know what they want
@RandallGoins1@SheaSerrano Soul sucker. He thought he was going to block him. Hell, he blocks 99% of the league on that. Not wemby though. Not his night.
@comicaccuracy The title hurt that show so much. If it’s called anything else, no one is complaining.
Also, the skrulls did actually invade and since Fury kept it to himself, I feel like skrulls will still play some part going forward. Dark world and Hulk came back, why not this?
@LvVStudiosYT The worst is hiding behind “we” when they mean “I”. Yes, you don’t like women characters don’t say there’s this we when you don’t know that many people.
I thought it was fine. Feel like a lot of the criticism would have went away if the show was just called 'Nick Fury' and if people paid proper attention to some of the plot points instead of repeating what they half read online.
@wyrwulf69@melum123@kimathi9495@Eon1Eno@NYtellem Why would someone who gives “glory to hanuman” need to do anything for Bast? He’s Ape man. He goes through ape trials. He probably did all that already to lead the Jabari.
And the secret sauce to Barkley was that he was the Round Mound of Rebound. Like Moses Malone before him, his real value was on the offensive glass and how many possessions he created from his activity there not just his isolation play.
Would Michael Jordan have been as good as he was if he didn't go to North Carolina for three years? If he didn't learn how to play basketball in a system would he have been able to play in the triangle?
I'm watching the ECSF from 1990. Barkley vs Jordan. The bulls offense flowed so well in the fourth quarter because Jordan couldn't dominate the ball. Philly's offense came to a complete stop because they HAD TO give the ball to Barkley every time. Stagnant O vs. Dynamic O.
