<Researchers succeeded in making entanglement between a mechanical oscillator—a vibrating dielectric membrane—and a cloud of atoms ... by connecting them with photons, particles of light>
[entanglement: correlated quantum states; i.e. vibrating in sync]

Let me break it down in a simple way that I’ve been reporting from the beginning.
To invent a vaccine for a disease that didn’t exist, our scientific Einsteins used taxpayer money to partner with communist China to create the dangerous virus in a lab—So that they could create a vaccine for it.
Covid was a result of primarily US funded vaccine research, and that’s the thing they could not let you know.
They stopped at nothing to obfuscate, misdirect, cover their tracks, protect themselves, and controversialize anyone telling the truth.
The scientific establishment and media aided and abetted.
I can think of no more impactful, crimes and violations that have occurred in our lifetime.
Very sad. Fascinated by them as a kid. Newton's Action/Reaction.
(And the Osprey initially had chafing hydraulic line, upsetting Congress, which severely limited Osprey's role as a replacement)
End of an era for the “Jump Jet”.
The Marines insist on “Vertical TakeOff & Landing” (VTOL) jets to operate from forward, austere areas.
In a memorable event, an RAF Harrier was “hovering” near a 2002 beach airshow in Suffolk, UK, w/ spellbound onlookers. As the jet flew backward, the engine failed. The jet resumed forward flight, but only barely, and began to sink.
The pilot ejected. At the time, it was reported that because of the slow velocity, the pilot landed right back in the cockpit. That’s not true…he got close, but actually landed on the wing.
Anyway, VTOL can refer to both jets & helicopters. A STOL is a “Short TakeOff & Landing” aircraft, requiring a little more room. Traditionally, VTOL jets burned a lot of fuel & were not as capable as conventional jets due to the complex design requirements. The Marines & others still have a “STOVL” (Short TakeOff & Vertical Landing) jet in the F-35B model, with much improved performance over the Harrier. While it doesn’t take off vertically, it only needs a very short runway, making it capable of operating from austere, forward locations, as well as the decks of smaller “Amphibious Assault Ships” like the USS Boxer, below. You can kind of think of it as a mini aircraft carrier (it is), but with the capability to deploy a bunch of Marines to the shore via a “Well Deck” it can flood, allowing hovercraft & other small vessels to enter.
This allows the Marines to show up as their own, complete fighting force, with air support that can move with them as they push inland from the shore.
Any club, alliance, or country which accepts members holding antithetical views to their founding principles, provides a trivial method for their own destruction. @JonathanTurley: yours is an emotional argument. Warm, inclusive emotions often betray original intentions. See Rome
The founders were not immigrants. Of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence, 8 were born outside the American colonies. They were born in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales--all subjects of the British crown, until they declared independence.
The "nation of immigrants" line isn't just ahistorical, it's liberal narrative propaganda meant to justify mass Third World immigration. It has no place on the right, not anymore.
I've often thought about the absolutely perfect storm that created the Covid cover up. It is often overlooked that creating Covid was the easy part. You send advanced Western biotechnology and a blueprint to a Communist Party affiliated lab that specialized in cutting corners, and something like that was bound to happen, just like Chernobyl was bound to happen for similar reasons.
But the cover up part was not that easy. Every single moving part had to align, from scientists to politicians to media to ordinary people. And uniquely, perhaps in human history, every part did align.
There are many reasons for this, ranging from not wanting to upset China, to wanting to keep the grant money flowing, to reputational self-preservation, institutional self-protection, and a general inability to acknowledge catastrophic error. But none of that would have been enough without the glue that held it all together, and that glue was always Trump Derangement Syndrome.
What every single player in this cover up, from Fauci to Daszak to various scientists to the media to Biden’s people and Democrats generally, and large parts of the population, all had in common was Trump hatred. They simply could not allow Trump to be right. And they still can’t, just look at the fact that they boycotted yesterday’s session with the CIA whistleblower who exposed the truth.
Had Forbes written “least donations to a foundation among billionaires” in the first paragraph, they would have avoided the biased language. And biased language conveys emotions and judgment beyond the facts.
@ClimateAudit, the disconnect relates to emotions & bias in language.
@HansMahncke is processing the phrase "least philanthropic billionaire" as a subtle dig.
That Forbes purposely took that dig is a valid argument: "China owned media pushing an outrageously false narrative."
most of the US foundations founded by impossibly rich businessmen seem to end up under the control of the entitled NGO class that Musk despises. Ford Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation etc etc. Musk is still young. I agree with you that he can do more good right now with assets under his contol than by distributing them to a foundation. (But I don't see that this has anything to do with China.)
《The core problem with the current system is that it allows government actors to launder their ideological priorities through supposedly independent nonprofits, evading responsibility and accountability》
In the wake of the SPLC scandal, the IRS has announced plans to revise Form 990 requirements to crack down on abuse of public funding. Unfortunately, more paperwork isn’t going to solve the problem. Form 990 is already extremely burdensome, time consuming, and expensive to comply with, while functioning more as a bureaucratic exercise for its own sake than a tool that actually stops fraud.
If the goal is to stop abuse, the solution is to bar 501(c)(3) organizations from receiving government funding in the first place. If a nonprofit’s mission is genuinely valuable, it should be able to stand on voluntary public support. Conversely, if the government wants to advance a cause, it should do so openly in its own name and be fully accountable for it. The core problem with the current system is that it allows government actors to launder their ideological priorities through supposedly independent nonprofits, evading responsibility and accountability.
Beyond the more obvious cases of advocacy groups benefiting from this structure, one of the most egregious examples is EcoHealth. When the government placed restrictions on gain of function research, Fauci routed funding through EcoHealth, which allowed that work to continue outside normal accountability structures. We all know how that ended, and I do not mean the $125 million that went to EcoHealth.
The principle should be straightforward. Private organizations answer to donors, and the government answers to the public.
To be clear, there may be narrow exceptions where a function is inherently charitable but still requires public funding. But those cases should be handled like the American Red Cross, which operates under specific statutory and congressional structures. They are not the rule but exceptions that prove the rule, and the rule should be no public grants for private charities as a default.
@ClimateAudit Quantum navigation. When a ship transits (observes) the strait, wave function collapses to classical navigation state: Either open OR closed. Quantum navigation has no such thing as open or closed. Ships transit & Scatter, yielding probability distribution: the wave function.
If you’re going to come at me, use facts. All you have is disinformation and lies. I’ll see you, prime time in front of the world.
America deserves a better brand of justice, and I’m giving it to them.
BRING IT
I’m pleased to announce that Fani Willis has now been permanently disqualified from prosecuting the indictment that she brought against President Trump, me, and many others.
The Georgia Supreme Court denied cert to Fani Willis, who was attempting to get that Court to take her case, so that she could try to get un-disqualified after the Georgia Court of Appeals threw her off the case.
The case now moves to the Prosecuting Attorneys Council of Georgia. They will decide on a replacement for Willis.
Praise the Lord for progress in this case. It never should have been brought in the first place.
As distasteful as the post may be to you, @DataRepublican, it’s correct: Charlie Kirk stood for freedom of expression.
So what is the first thing you did upon reading the post? Tell them to “SHUT UP”, in caps, no less.
You, of all outlets, need to SHUT UP. You were the first outlet to dox me. You ran a deranged piece painting me as some CFPB mastermind only because you couldn’t dig up dirt. You tried to cancel me. You don’t get to whine about cancel culture.
Here’s the rule: if you don’t want to get fired, don’t cheer the deaths of your neighbors, family, or fellow Americans.
You and I are not the same. We see you. You are hypocrites. You are evil. Go crawl away in shame.
From what little I know about Charlie Kirk, he would have conceded their point. He was a man of integrity.
He’s not even in his grave, yet. And you, one of his followers, have already violated his basic tenet—freedom of expression—by commanding someone to “SHUT UP”.
