I think this act of taking something that we cannot typically see and then, through its movement, being able to confirm its existence—to show us and reassure us that it’s actually there—is very much akin to cinematic expression itself. So wind, to me, is not so much something that is spiritual, but I think of cinema as something that is there for us to be able to capture the wind. So wind is almost like cinematic expression itself."
