Dr. Pestana’s Surgery Notes by @KaplanMedical is probably the most used book by #medstudents for surgery clerkships/board prep. Yet, in both 2018 & 2020 editions, it still refers to a woman w/ Cushing as a "monster" & "just a fat hairy lady" 🤦‍♀️smh. #MedTwitter (Ch. 4 - Endocrine)
