I really want to tune into the Case and Carl Thomas Verzuz tonight, but I’m sleepy as hell! My eyes are getting heavier by the minute. It has to be the food I ate earlier and this chamomile tea teaming up against me! 🫠
I’m Making turkey wings, sweet potatoes, white rice, and zucchini. So happy I don’t work the next few days and can enjoy this time to reset, regroup, and unwind! 🫶🏾
I hate that term so much. There’s nothing endearing about it to me. Honestly, my small circle of friends/sisters and I don’t even refer to each other as “bitches.” This generation is different for sure. 🫠
I notice that when you're not a competitive person, people wish to put you in positions where you're the jealous and envious one to reaffirm themselves of their own identity. They want you to fall into the very patterns you preach against.
@SnackyB@beyoncegarden From my understanding I believe she is saying it is nostalgic for her, because during that time the animations they saw on TV back then, and seeing it now just hits different with age. My mom be sending me these AI videos constantly and I be annoyed too lol. It’s creepy to me 😂
The ironic thing about life is that you are a different person to everyone you meet. To some, you're quiet, to others, you never stop talking. Some remember you for your kindness, others for the time you walked away. You are a villain in someone's story, a hero in another's, & to some, you're just a passing thought, a name they once knew. You don't exist as one person, but as countless versions of yourself, shaped by fleeting moments and personal perceptions.
Here's what's unsettling: You will never truly know yourself the way others do. You will never hear your own laughter the way someone else does. You will never see the way your absence lingers in a room you used to fill. To yourself, you are just you. But in reality, you're a thousand different stories, none of which you will ever get to read.
