Recently, my life changed in an instant when I was involved in a serious vehicle accident that left me
with a broken leg and severe knee injuries. I was riding an e-scooter home on the way from work when an ambulance from Grady Hospital turned into the bike lane and struck me head-on. I underwent
emergency surgery, where surgeons had to insert screws and metal rods in my leg to repair the damage.
Now, I'm facing a long and difficult recovery. My doctors expect that I'II be unable to walk for about three months while I heal and go through rehabilitation.
Asking for help has never come easily to me, but right now I truly need it. If you're able to contribute, no matter the amount, or simply share this fundraiser with others, it would mean more to me than I can put into words. Your kindness, encouragement, and support will help me focus on healing and getting back on my feet so I can return to doing what I love.
