Imagine the worst thing you can say about Joe Biden is that he got old while carrying the weight of the country on his shoulders.
He beat Trump when no one else could. He gave America and the world a fighting chance. He rebuilt the economy, passed historic legislation, stood with our allies, and restored dignity after four years of chaos and incompetence.
Yes, he believed he still had more to give. That is not a moral failing. That is a man who loved his country and did not want to walk away from the fight when his nation needed him. In the end, he didn't fail the country, we did, because we fully knew the stakes.
History will be much kinder to 46 than the pundits ever were. That I know.
I’ve got his back. How about you?
Americans really are majority ignorant racist assholes💔
"America has 51 billionaires who made their money from our profit-driven healthcare system, the only one in the developed world.
It’s not only obscene that they’re taking so much money from so many of us who have so little; it’s also killing all of us.
We’re among the worst — and most expensive — healthcare systems in the developed world, with Thailand and Ecuador even beating us out.
And the reason it stays that way, according to a shocking new study, is because about half of all white people would rather inflict pain on all of us (including themselves) than allow for a system which may also benefit Black people.
If that sounds irrational, it is. But it’s also completely consistent with a history that includes white communities closing their own schools and swimming pools back in the 1960s when LBJ forced them to allow Black children in.
Sixty-six years ago, on a campaign swing through Tennessee, Lyndon Johnson turned to his press secretary Bill Moyers in a hotel room and explained, with the bluntness of a man who’d grown up watching it work in Texas, why America couldn’t have nice things.
“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man,” LBJ said, “he won’t notice your picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”
Moyers wrote about it years later in The Washington Post, and the line has been quoted ever since because it explained, in one sentence, the entire arc of “conservative” behavior from Reconstruction to Nixon to Reagan to Trump.
These billionaires exist nowhere else in the developed world for a simple reason: no other developed country has set up its healthcare system so that human sickness is a profit center.
From Nixon‘s Southern Strategy to Bush’s Willie Horton ads to Trump’s racist birtherism, scaring White people about Black people has been the go-to position of the GOP since the 1960s.
And stopping “socialism” that may benefit Black or Hispanic people is at it’s core."

THIS SATURDAY.
ALL ROADS LEAD TO THE SOUTH.
The racist gerrymandering we’re seeing across the South was pushed through by politicians protecting power, not by the people. Most of these maps were never approved by voters because they knew the public would reject them.
That’s why this matters.

“When Trump seeks to vanquish his perceived enemies it is always through stunts and slurs, never taking someone head on through strength or facts. He is, and will always be, a coward at heart.
It’s the toxic imagery he craves because he intrinsically understands the power of illusion and the metaphorical sugar rush he offers his followers with his malignant mirth.
The MAGA faithful enjoy the fact that he is an awful person - it’s part of the act, the presidential equivalent of an insult comic doing crowd work. Trump offers them something irresistible; the promise of power without sacrifice, phantom riches without work and the intoxicating aromatic of entitlement.
POTUS is the political equivalent of a scratch-off lottery ticket. In the end, his broken offerings will be discarded on the greasy asphalt of a sunbaked 7-Eleven parking lot, next to the oil stains and calcified bubble gum.
A totem of the disposable, post-consumer land of false hopes and broken dreams.
Trump’s movement is a cigarette butt swirling in fetid waters, the effluent in an America that teems with the sounds of leaf blowers and ignorance. Where A.I. data centers emerge on the horizon like the Monolith in Kubrick & Clarke’s ‘2001: A Space Oddity’.
We bang our bones in the dirt, slouching towards a future dictated by rapacious hedge funds and unconstrained algorithms that have no concern for us. Our very consciousness traded like just another commodity in the ever ravenous attention economy.
The land of the free is never quiet or still anymore, her reckless inertia can no longer be mistaken for optimism or even aspiration.
The endless scroll of an apocalyptic timeline…the avatars of bottomless greed foisting it all upon us like a wounded animal that knows it has to keep moving to survive, seeking to trample everything in its path.
Careening through life’s precautions and safety barriers, not just with reckless abandon but a homicidal fervor. The old adage, ‘hurt people hurt people’ has never been truer than it is here and now, in this ignoble moment of our 250th year.” https://t.co/0A47WcZeIj
🏛️ A key provision of the Voting Rights Act that restricted racial discrimination in voting for decades has been gutted by the Supreme Court.
So, what actually happens when Black and brown voters lose proper representation in their communities? The reverberations of this ruling will be felt, both nationally and locally, for generations.
Here’s what you need to know👇
22/ This is a coordinated attempt within the Kremlin and White House to both distract and weaken NATO to aid Russia annex not only Ukraine but to divide Europe between them though Russian/American funded political parties, economic warfare as well as social media operations on X.
If you enjoy my writing please know it came from having excellent teachers and mentors from my early years in the DMV thru to my NYC acting school days when the late, great Thelma Carter told me to read Langston Hughes and Lorraine Hansberry.
My first broadway show was August Wilson’s ‘Fences’ with James Earl Jones. Black excellence has benefited my life in ways I couldn’t begin to measure but would never be so blind as to not recognize. Why does legislative freedom tie into cultural riches?
Because without representation we choke-off opportunity and block out the sunshine of the spirit. An America in which the only elections are those in which Republicans are guaranteed to win is not a great nation but a fool’s folly.
A bloated carcass of incompetence, as we see now in Trump 2.0: ‘The Pilfering’.
We’ve seen this movie before and it sucks.
Having been born 6 years after the Voting Rights Act was signed into law I cannot wonder what my life would have been like without the rights that so many fought for and of which I, and all of us on the side of progress, benefitted.
If you think of civil rights as an issue that only affects minorities you miss the big picture and brilliant tapestry of a common cause. This is no time for apathy.
Equality is not a convenience that some can remove for political expediency and to dominate and purvey the mendacious mediocrity of MAGA.
Men like Louisiana’s Jeff Landry and the execrable Mike Johnson have always existed in the Deep South (whose malignant, mossy mindset is stretching far North these days ). The KKK was invented to protect such toadstools.
If they think they can bring back Jim Crow era BS without a fight they are wrong.
Their actions and those of POTUS & SCOTUS are reprehensible and despicable. Stand up to this insanity. They are cowards and thieves. Boycott the companies that kiss the ring of the mad king. Fight the Power.
I'm watching Pete Hegseth testify and anyone who does so with an open mind, will readily see that he is a caricature. He has delusions that he is starring in an action movie.
He is arrogant and ignorant. His narrative never has any depth. He speaks as if what's good and what's right are not even complex subjects, or debates borne of perspective.
He loves American Exceptionalism but believes that it's only defined by musculature and pomposity. He couldn't care less for us being a shining example for others, or a force for a greater good. He couldn't care less for sharing strategy or being accountable.
He creates lasting disdain for America on a global level like few others ever have and make no mistake - this disdain will permeate for generations.
He doesn't present arguments. He doesn't share justifications. He doesn't care for transparency, and the only thing he cares less for than that, is humanity.
As a behaviorist, I can feel the things he's been accused of - like alcoholism and misogyny and reckless sharing of info - underlying his attitude and every utterance, and you can feel how unapologetic he is for any of it.
He is a brazen politician serving an audience of one.
He is a Made for TV concoction, and a vacuous mishmash of hormones and neurotransmitters.
That he's running the US Defense Dept. is incredibly dangerous and disturbing.
The most dangerous discovery in neuroscience is that your brain actively categorizes "Future You" as a stranger.
In 2011, Hal Hershfield discovered something that destroys every assumption about willpower and self-control.
When Stanford researchers put people in brain scanners and asked them to think about themselves in 10 years, the neural activity looked identical to thinking about celebrities or random strangers. Zero overlap with the patterns that fire when you think about your current self.
You literally perceive Future You as a different person.
That disconnect explains why 92% of New Year's resolutions fail within 60 days. You make promises to someone your brain doesn't recognize as you. Future You will exercise. Future You will save money. Future You will quit smoking. But to your current neural circuitry, Future You is as foreign as the person sitting three tables away at a coffee shop.
The question is would you trust a stranger to follow through on your commitments?
The shift happened when Hershfield tested "future self-continuity" interventions. Simple techniques that force your brain to recognize Future You as actually you. People who spent 10 minutes writing detailed letters to themselves 10 years from now showed 60% higher follow-through rates on behavioral commitments compared to control groups who just made standard resolutions.
The mechanism is startling in its simplicity.
Writing to Future You activates the same brain regions that fire during autobiographical memory recall. You start processing Future You with the same neural machinery you use for Current You. The psychological distance collapses. Future You stops being a stranger and becomes a continuation of your identity timeline.
This rewrites the entire framework of behavior change. Willpower is less about forcing yourself to do hard things and more about convincing your brain that the person who will benefit from those hard things is actually you.
But, 99% people approach goals backwards.
They focus on the action. Do this. Stop that. Change this habit. But the action is downstream from identity recognition. If your brain categorizes Future You as someone else, every sacrifice you make for Future You feels like charity work. And humans hate doing unpaid charity work for strangers, especially strangers who never seem to appreciate it.
The people who sustain major life changes intuitively understood this connection before Hershfield proved it scientifically. They do more than just setting goals. They built detailed mental models of their future identity. They could describe not just what Future They would do, but how Future They would think, what Future They would value, how Future They would spend Tuesday afternoons.
The 60% improvement must not be considered a ceiling. It's the baseline for people who accidentally stumbled into future self-continuity.
When researchers deliberately trained people to maximize the neural overlap between current and future self-perception, follow-through rates approached 85%.
That number breaks most of what the self-help industry teaches about habits and discipline.
So, the takeaway is you don't need more motivation. You need better self-recognition software. Your brain needs to see Future You as clearly as it sees Current You. Every major behavioral change becomes effortless once that perceptual shift locks in.
Future You isn't someone you owe. Future You is someone you are.
Once your brain accepts that equation, behavior change stops feeling like work and starts feeling like basic self-preservation.
I have three monitors on my desk. The left one shows the order book. The middle one shows Truth Social. The right one shows the investigation queue.
On April 21st, the left screen moved first.
I am a Senior Surveillance Analyst at a commodities exchange. I have held this position for nineteen years. My job is to monitor trading activity for suspicious patterns and generate compliance reports. I am employee of the quarter. I have a mug.
At 19:54 GMT on April 21st, someone placed 4,260 sell orders on Brent crude futures. They did this during post-settlement. The window after the market closes when daily volume is typically in the dozens. Sometimes single digits. Sometimes I watch the screen and nothing happens for forty minutes and I think about whether my daughter is happy.
On April 21st, someone placed $430 million in directional bets in 120 seconds during that window. One hundred and twenty seconds. I timed it on my watch because the system clock rounds to the nearest minute and I have found, in nineteen years, that precision matters to no one but me.
At 20:10 GMT, the President posted on Truth Social that he was extending the Iran ceasefire.
Brent dropped from $100.91 to $96.83.
I flagged the trade. I flag a lot of trades. I want to tell you what happens to my flags.
My flags go into a system called TRACE. Trade Review and Compliance Evaluation. I did not name it. The system generates a report. The report goes to a committee. The committee has a name I am not allowed to share but I can tell you it meets quarterly and the conference room has a credenza with bottled water that is sparkling because someone once put still water in the room and a managing director sent an email about it that was longer than most of my surveillance reports.
The committee reviews my flags. The committee has reviewed all of my flags. Here is the complete record of actions taken on my flags in 2026:
Reviewed.
That's it. "Reviewed" is a status. In compliance, a status is the absence of an action that has been given a name so it looks like one.
Let me show you my flags.
March 9th. Someone bet millions on oil falling at 18:29 GMT. Forty-seven minutes later, a CBS reporter posted that the President said the Iran war was "very complete, pretty much." Oil dropped 25%. Forty-seven minutes. I flagged it.
March 23rd. Someone sold 5,100 lots of Brent and WTI crude futures between 10:49 and 10:50 GMT. Fourteen minutes later, the President posted on Truth Social about a "COMPLETE AND TOTAL RESOLUTION" to hostilities. Oil dropped 11%. Over 13,000 contracts traded in sixty seconds after the post. Fourteen minutes. I flagged it.
April 7th. Someone established a $950 million short position in oil futures at 19:45 GMT. Three hours later, the President declared a two-week ceasefire. Nine hundred and fifty million dollars. I flagged it.
April 17th. Someone placed $760 million in bearish bets twenty minutes before Iran's foreign minister confirmed the Strait of Hormuz would reopen. Seven hundred and sixty million. I flagged it.
April 21st. The $430 million. Fifteen minutes. I flagged it.
That is $2.1 billion in directional oil bets in April alone. Every one of them landed on the correct side of a presidential announcement. Every one of them was placed in a window so narrow you could measure it in bathroom breaks. I flagged every single one.
The CFTC chair told a Congressional committee that his organization has "zero tolerance" for fraud and insider trading. I wrote that quote on a Post-it note and stuck it to my right monitor. The one that shows the investigation queue. The investigation queue has not moved since March.
Zero tolerance. Zero staff. Zero budget. Zero prosecutions under the STOCK Act since it was signed in 2012.
Fourteen years. The law has existed for fourteen years and has been enforced zero times. In compliance, we call that a compliance rate of one hundred percent. No cases filed means no cases lost. You cannot fail an audit you never conduct. We call that excellence.
Last month the White House sent an internal email to staff. I was not on the distribution list but I have read reporting on it and I need you to sit with what I am about to say. The email instructed White House staff not to use insider information to place bets on prediction markets.
The White House had to send a memo telling its own employees not to insider-trade.
I want you to read that sentence again. Not because the instruction was unclear. Because the instruction was necessary. Because someone in the building looked at the same pattern I have been flagging for months on my three monitors and decided the appropriate response was an email.
The President's son sits on the advisory board of Kalshi. He is an investor in Polymarket. Both are prediction markets. Both saw accounts created days before U.S. military action.
One account. I cannot stop thinking about this account. It was called "Burdensome-Mix." It was created in December. On January 2nd, it placed $32,500 on Venezuela's president being removed from power. On January 3rd, Maduro was seized by U.S. special forces. Burdensome-Mix collected $436,000. Then it changed its username. Then it disappeared.
One account is a coincidence. But there were six.
Six accounts were created on Polymarket in February. All bet on U.S. strikes on Iran by the 28th. When the President confirmed the strikes, the six accounts collected $1.2 million between them. Five of the six never placed another bet. The sixth went on to correctly predict the ceasefire date and made another $163,000.
My surveillance system logged all of this. My system logs everything. My system does not have opinions and neither do I. I generate reports. The reports go to committees. The committees meet quarterly. Between meetings, the windows get shorter and the bets get larger.
March 9th: 47 minutes. March 23rd: 14 minutes. April 17th: 20 minutes. April 21st: 15 minutes.
The window is compressing. In March, you had time to make coffee between the trade and the announcement. By April, you had time to send a text. By summer, at this rate, the trade and the announcement will be the same event.
The spokesman said any implication that administration officials are engaged in insider trading is "baseless and irresponsible reporting."
Then the White House sent the email again.
I have been in compliance for nineteen years. I have seen insider trading run out of strip mall offices by men who could not spell "derivative." I have seen pump-and-dump schemes coordinated over WhatsApp by people who used their real names. I have seen a man try to manipulate soybean futures from a Panera Bread.
I have never seen $2.1 billion in perfectly timed trades across five presidential announcements in a single month go uninvestigated.
But I have also never seen a compliance system work this beautifully. Every trade flagged. Every report filed. Every committee briefed. Every quarterly meeting attended. Bottled water: sparkling. Minutes: distributed.
Zero prosecutions.
As long as the flags go up and the cases don't, my performance review says I am meeting expectations.
I am meeting expectations. The system is meeting expectations. The $2.1 billion is meeting expectations. The fourteen-year-old law with zero prosecutions is meeting expectations.
The left screen moves. The middle screen moves. The right screen stays perfectly, immaculately still.
In my field, we call this price discovery.
There’s a famous story about a rabbi who survived the Holocaust, camps and all, while his entire family was killed. When he returned home, he said, “It could have been worse.” His students asked: “How could it possibly have been worse?” The rabbi replied: “It could have been us doing all the killing.”
A new watchdog report from the Government Accountability Oversight Project alleges that President Donald Trump directed $3 billion in federal funds toward his own properties and political allies. The report claims this was achieved through a series of classified security agreements and no-bid contracts authorized during his final year in office. Investigators suggest that emergency national security designations allowed these properties to receive federal payments at rates significantly higher than market value.
The most substantial allegation involves a $1.2 billion security agreement at Mar-a-Lago, an amount that reportedly exceeds the security budget of any private residence in U.S. history. While the Trump legal team has dismissed these findings as a partisan attack, federal investigators are currently reviewing the data. If verified, this would represent the largest alleged self-dealing scheme by a president in the history of the United States.
Critics have noted that the funds in question were drawn from the national treasury, which traditionally supports essential services such as veterans' hospitals and disaster relief. While no formal charges have been filed, the scale of the alleged diverted funds has sparked intense debate over executive accountability. The Government Accountability Office has yet to issue a formal comment on the specific findings of the report.
Here is my take on the commie-nazi cult/ideology. Let me start with this: I was born in Poland and lived through communism, witnessing terrible things. I watched communism collapse in Poland and hate it with the same passion as Nazism/fascism. We Poles were the first to fight Nazis and commies. They actually attacked us together from two sides and split Poland apart. Did you ever hear about the Ribbentrop-Molotov pact? Well, it was a pact between the Soviet Union/Stalin and Nazi Germany/Hitler to work together to take over Poland. They did this, and then Hitler felt too powerful and decided to invade the Soviet Union (the worst decision of his life).
Anyway, Putin is an old communist, an ex-KGB officer, but also an admirer of the old Russian Empire before the Red Revolution. He wants to revive some new form of communism and the Russian empire with elements of fascism – some new insane utopia. While MAGA cultists in America are definitely racist, almost like Nazis/fascists, they also really like Putin's ideas. I believe that the commie-nazi cult is a combination/hybrid of the worst elements of Nazism/fascism and communism combined, plus Christofascist evangelical cults. It's a new monster, a Medusa which I call the commie-nazi cult.
Many people think that these two ideologies can't work together and be combined. We live in a different century; old rules don’t apply anymore. Everything is possible. That’s why we're witnessing the birth of a commie-nazi powered MAGA cult. And do you know what Putin’s plan is? It's almost the same as Hitler's plan. He's been working on it since the collapse of communism in 1989. The MAGA cult is his work. When America is weakened from within by the Russia-loving MAGA cult, then Putin will try to destroy America, probably together with China. He hates America and has manipulated and brainwashed the dumb, far-right American conservatives to the point that they believe and support Putin and Russia but not their own first-line defenders like the FBI, CIA, DHS, or NSA🤦🏻♂️
Don’t you really see this happening? If not, I don’t know what to say. Remember, I am a foreigner who has lived in America for 27 years, but I lived under Russian oppression for decades. I know Russians, communism, and Nazism very well. I know my history, I speak and read Russian, and I have Russian friends. I know things that Americans don’t understand. As I mentioned before, the commie-nazi cult was born and is now growing. We need to stop it before it's too late!
