6 months ago, i was done with “the Hollywood system”.

my feature scripts had been “we love it but pass”ed by every lab & fund you can name.

i’d spent a decade in film — Emmy / Oscars shortlists, festival red carpets — and still couldn’t get my movie financed.

my “AI saves hollywood” script was considered “too unrealistic”.

ironically, AI actually exploded first.

so i made a decision:

if no one would let me make movies the old way, i’d build my own hollywood with AI.

and i’d document everything.

timeline:

– 6 months ago: crying on my apartment floor after another rejection email, seriously considering quitting film.

– 5 months ago: opened a blank notebook titled “Storyverse AI” and wrote one sentence:
“anyone can make a film in minutes.”

– 4 months ago: stayed up until 3am every night, hacking together AI storyboards, animation tests, weird cursed shots that only my laptop has seen.

– 3 months ago: posted my first AI film experiments online. 200 views. 3 likes. kept going.

– 2 months ago: “wait… what tool is this?”
strangers started DM’ing, asking how i was making these shots.

– 3 weeks ago: submitted a tiny AI short we made with Storyverse to @Artefact_Global AI Film Festival just for fun, fully expecting a rejection.

– last week: email subject line —

our AI film got into an international film festival.

Sora shutting down doesn’t surprise me.
The problem was never video generation.

It was what came after the generation.

When your “product” is a 10-second clip with no story, users watch once… then leave. There’s nothing to come back for. You can’t build a durable content platform on isolated clips.

Starred in an Avatar movie at a Stanford × Google (DeepMind) Hackathon

While most teams pitched with slides, we used AI to turn our product vision into a cinematic experience:
from a hackathon selfie → to Mad-Max deserts, Avatar forests, and even a dinosaur-scale “investor meeting.”

Why?

Because the way we build technology should match the way humans actually think and feel.

We want to explores a simple idea:
what if pitching, storytelling, and product design didn’t rely on decks,
