@xhoneychiix You can apply for other things too to help you out, but they require a phone interview for things like SNAP. I was only able to get the health insurance because I missed my interview and never sent a request to reschedule back because I was busy and forgot.

@xhoneychiix Don't feel bad! We all have this idea ingrained in us that needing benefits is only for poor people or people who want to abuse the system and other fucked up ideologies. Our taxes pay for that system, at least apply and see if it can help you out! You can apply online too btw!

@xhoneychiix You could always apply for benefits! I got approved for state Health Insurance when I was working my last part time job. I know it may not be the best or preferable choice, but it def helped when I had a bad ear infection and I didn't have to pay for my visit at the ER 🤷
