Today, Taiwanese people consume medicinal spirits derived from both animal and botanical elements.

A_Root is an indie band using traditional instruments to create a whole new sound. These musicians recognize the ruan and the sheng add unique aspects to modern rock concerts. Their recent work explores the many ghosts and monsters celebrated throughout Taiwan’s literary scene.

I think the most beautiful fonts coming out of modern Taiwan are the ones by justfont. 金萱體 (named after a variety of tea), 道路體 (designed after the words painted on streets), are just two of their beautiful, quintessentially Taiwanese creations😍
