DreamWorks is releasing Shrek in 4k UHD. Here's a secret: The movie was only rendered at 1828 pixels across, and due to not being able to afford more disk/network the images were 4:1:1 JPEG compressed at 98% quality. Not sure where most of those pixels are coming from!
