I started learning furniture making at Ipaja furniture yard at 30, as the only female apprentice there. People would literally stop and stare at me as I worked, but I didn’t care😂

I’m currently learning SPM on Coursera and I think I can now boldly call out our whack Nigeria education teaching system.

This system robbed us so much.

One company I worked with was always hiring and firing - even expatriates.

Once people left, they’d go on Glassdoor and drop brutal reviews, telling others to run for their lives. Salary, work culture… everything.

I was in the Brand Management team, and we were told to go on Glassdoor to counter those reviews.

That was when I realized - if a company is more focused on covering up than fixing issues, that’s a bigger problem.
