@RnaudBertrand So are the 2026 World Cup followers going to buy their wallet-emptying tickets first without finding out whether they can enter the U.S?
@Where_sMyCoffee Helping people with visual impairment is a good aim. However I question whether Calibri is the answer. Try distinguishing between the 2 characters before the digit 1 in the image. Verdana or Tahoma would have been better in this respect. Illness looks silly in Calibri.
@RobertCStern If assisting people with some visual disability is a key concern (with which I agree), Calibri was a poor choice. Which of the 2 characters before the 1 in the image is capital I (eye) and which is lower case l (el)? Verdana or Tahoma would have been better in this respect.
"Warning as lead and arsenic wash up on beach."
Remember those plastic beads now washing up along a 70 mile stretch of the English coast, the ones belonging to Southern Water that they told you were inert and totally harmless?
Turns out they're contaminated with lead, arsenic and cadmium amongst other things.
And @EnvAgency does what exactly?

This is the Llynor.
It's one of the cleanest tributaries on the Dee.
No farmyards or sewage treatment works upstream.
And it's mostly forest, a big section being restored to ancient woodland.
But it has a major problem.

... and showing the Palestinian flag is not an offence - police mission creep at work.
We have the right to use plain words to express plain sentiment in a plain way https://t.co/3hRes4D4XM
@DefendourJuries An organisation carries out actions which lead to its being proscribed. One might guess it has views which many people reasonably support. For police to accuse someone holding those views is excessive mission creep
“Armed police threatened to arrest Kent protester for holding Palestinian flag.
Officers accused Laura Murton who also had a sign saying ‘Free Gaza’ of supporting a proscribed organisation.”
This is exactly what we said would start happening…

@santanderukhelp ... The link you provided (thanks) seems to be about new accounts. Mine is 10 years old. (Thanks for the advice about getting through to a human advisor via the chatbot - which I'll also have a go at)
@santanderukhelp I would like to seek help from Santander either by email or some form of secure message via the web site. I do have a login a/c. I've tried the chat line and it doesn't understand me. I'd prefer not to phone about this issue. Please advise
@santanderukhelp Thx. I'm sure my request can be handled generically. Has Santander, in the last few weeks, distributed a message which requests the customer to provide "information about your business" to meet "legal and regulatory obligations"? .... more
@santanderukhelp Pity you're not doing what you used to call secure message via the web site any more. Would be ideal for this purpose. Loss of customer service contact methods in my view
@santanderukhelp I rcvd email apparently frm S'der UK abt my a/c, asking to "provide information about your business" "to meet our legal and regulatory obligations". I distrusted the web link in the email. In my online a/c, the reqmt not mentioned. Chat bot thinks the email is spam. Pls advise
Ahead of the expected proscription of Palestine Action - the first time a protest group has been legally redefined as terrorist - I went through the Hansard of the 2000 Act they're being banned under. Turns out MPs were assured the law wouldn't be applied this way. Thread 🧵🔽
HS2: I've read the official reports and statements so you didn't have to.
Depressing.
A vision for connectivity and levelling up the country has become a national embarrassment, wrecked by incompetence as tens of billions of taxpayers' cash was squandered.

No we did not and dont do that.
But an exception is that we cant give an unvaccinated individual an organ because the medications used to help their body accept the organ put them at an unreasonably high risk of infectious disease which puts the organ at risk (which is a rare resource) and their life at risk.
Humans are creating the third great extinction. If we don't change - 99.9% of critically endangered species will be lost & it will take the earth more than 3 million yrs to recover.
