I know I’ve been hard on @saumil lately.

But have to give him his flowers. @Ticketmaster has appeared to have solved the massive queue problems.

I mean it only took blocking every single actual fan from buying tickets but they have managed to get those queue numbers down!

Congrats to him and his team for working so diligently

It's funny watching @Ticketmaster claim to care about fans while profiting from bot-driven resales on its own marketplace (red dots).

They collect hefty fees from both buyers and sellers, so where is the incentive to stop botters? That's a massive conflict of interest if the goal is getting tickets into fans' hands.

Meanwhile, many legitimate fans appear to be getting blocked and then asked to submit biometric data just for a chance to buy tickets.

The irony? Would Ticketmaster executives be willing to hand over their own biometric data knowing the consequences if that kind of information were ever compromised? My guess, absolutely not.
