this article says that HBO expressly chose to cast non-stars from the beginning cuz they knew in success they would create stars. this is *so important.* nowadays we are told we can only cast A-list. the point is: the writing is the star. they were right!

The reason I won’t consume Harry’s content is because it’s trauma exploitation. Yes, self exploitation, but still feels wrong to consume for *entertainment* - and let’s be clear, everyone (even Harry) knows this book and all his/their media is for entertainment. 🧵
