@jamiebgolden The only thing I can think is I have to give it something now to give the algorithm something to work with - whenever that switch is flipped. It’s… not ideal, but for some reason I want it to work.
@4evrmalone Not sure if it’s NYC sized but the surprise of my home is the comfort level of our Cindy Crawford Bedford Park sectional from Rooms to Go. It’s sleep worthy.

Also all Parisians after seeing the abundance of TikTok’s focused on “how to dress like a French person.”
Truthfully, Americans love a costume party. We can’t help ourselves.
What’s wild is that the thing that got me to watch was wondering what kind of show was HBO quality and put Matty from Father of the Bride and Mr Darcy in the same room.
this article says that HBO expressly chose to cast non-stars from the beginning cuz they knew in success they would create stars. this is *so important.* nowadays we are told we can only cast A-list. the point is: the writing is the star. they were right!

The amount of discussion on Shiv.
She has watched Kendall cut her out every time she blinks. At least with Tom, she’s worth billions more than him and has his child. She still holds some kind of power in that scenario and that’s the only place she feels safe.
@jhardingAL Yep.
It’s the only show I’ve found where I can disassociate from the characters because I’m not supposed to like them. Then I can appreciate the writing and acting exactly for what it is: masterful.
@jhardingAL@RuthServenSmith It was a delight to work with you!!
The discussion of why weddings cost what they cost is... deep, emotionally charged and highly divisive. I've watched it play out over social media comments and it gets ugly. I don't even know how to have an open discussion about it anymore.
@offbeatorbit I take mine off to sleep bc my fingers swell. Also don’t wear them working out (for the same reason) or showering, etc. Sometimes I downsize to just my wedding band (did that a lot in the pandemic). I like options.
@HolyHeretics When I was in a women’s bible study and the leader was teaching from a book that pushed for women to stay in abusive marriages because that’s what God called us to do - and everyone else in the group agreed. That was well before 2016, but DJT’s election sealed the deal.
Tales in cold resume emails: “I don’t want to hire you to plan my wedding but I think I’d be great at planning my own wedding on your time while you pay me.”
Which leads me back to my thought from last week that no one should be shocked if (and my prediction is *when*) we see them in a Super Bowl commercial.
They are building their entertainment brand, not enacting social change.
The reason I won’t consume Harry’s content is because it’s trauma exploitation. Yes, self exploitation, but still feels wrong to consume for *entertainment* - and let’s be clear, everyone (even Harry) knows this book and all his/their media is for entertainment. 🧵
