Her absence is gonna be felt strongly in Part3’s first area : the great glacier. You also come across her birth place and discover s videos about her family she herself never knew.
The events in the crater focus largely on Cloud breaking down and Weapons awakening.

@phoenixwriter3 People forgot how much of Disc 2 and 3 focused on Aerith, because their memories hyperfocused on 1-2 scenes instead of the in-between important scenes.

The rest is going to go fight Seph and Aerith and her memory is again made important. She ends up saving the world and the game closes on her smiling face. Of course, I expect more post ending scenes this time, which will 100% have a few important Aerith ones.
