The Principal Secretary for the State Department for Public Service, Dr. Jane Kere Imbunya @Dr_JaneImbunya hosted a delegation from the African Association for Public Administration and Management (AAPAM), led by Secretary General Prof. George Scott, during a courtesy call to her office.

During the meeting, Dr. Imbunya and the AAPAM delegation discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between the State Department and AAPAM, with a focus on enhancing public service delivery, performance, and productivity across Africa.

AAPAM is a premier continental organization championing excellence in public administration and management through research, training, conferences, and knowledge exchange.

With close to five decades of service, AAPAM continues to bring together governments, academia, the private sector, civil society, and young professionals in its mission to build efficient, responsive, and transformative public institutions across the continent.

[In Pictures] This morning in Freetown🇸🇱, prior to the Multi-stakeholders Consultative Conference on the Policy Agenda for the Public Service Reform of Sierra Leone, a briefing session occurred. The session involved the APRM, Prof @eddymaloka , representatives from the South African Government (including the 🇿🇦Ambassador to Ghana🇬🇭 /Sierra Leone🇸🇱), and the Sierra Leone government, represented by the Chief Minister @dsengeh and the APR Focal Point minister, Hon Amara Kallon🇸🇱. This workshop is organized by the Ministry of Public Administration and Political Affairs.
