2/7/1801-7/12/1881 Ovid Butler Section 6 Lot 14 GPS (39.8199708, -86.1746097) Born in New York, Butler practiced law in Shelbyville from 1825-1836 before moving to Indianapolis and being a partner in a firm with Calvin Fletcher. But he left law in 1849, citing health reasons.
