@BenjaminCrew1 Oh come on. That's a blunt generalization that doesn't match my anecdotal experience: people are criticizing the 3 decades dated plot devices and sentiment that local news would be trusted for ET disclosure.
@RazorFist It merely confirmed my belief that old (creative) people who have had success are not very good at their craft.

@daniel_knauf I mean, we have had the federal government publicly acknowledge objects in the air and seas that they cannot explain. No riots. No mass suicides.

@MoxxieMoth Once I became an adult, I didn't really use that word pejoratively, and it wasn't really said much at all in my social circle.
And then a bunch of harpies started clucking about "Spread the Word to End the Word" etc.
Now I use it all the time and hear gen Z and alpha do the same.
