In December 2025, Weplanet Africa successfully organized the Nuclear Advocacy Bootcamp 2025 (NAB2025) in Nigeria. We brought together 26 outstanding young advocates, selected from over 180 applicants, to engage in critical conversations regarding the region's energy transition.

Through expert-led sessions covering energy systems, nuclear science, safety protocols, policy frameworks, and strategic communication, the participants gained the necessary tools to champion clean, reliable, and sustainable energy.

This bootcamp was a step forward in aligning our energy goals with SDGs 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and 13 (Climate Action).

We are proud to see these young leaders ready to drive the conversation on nuclear energy forward!
