Someone who looked exactly like me.

My hands began shaking.

“That's impossible.”

Daniel stared at me.

“I know.”

Then he handed me a photograph.

It was security footage from inside the office.

The timestamp was from two hours earlier.

The man entering my boss's office had my face.

My clothes.

Even the scar on my eyebrow.

But I had been at home.

Then I noticed something.

The man in the photograph was wearing my employee badge.

The same badge that had just stopped working.
