Earlier today, our local government leaders from across Nakifuma county in Mukono District had a productive induction session at the party headquarters. It has been a cordial interaction where the party trainers emphasized services as a yardstick for good leadership to the people we serve.

"We praise heroes everyday but there are those that we forget to praise: the women of this world.”- Lucky Dube. On this heroes day, my mind goes to these and and all women who are going through untold pain, fighting for a better Uganda. You’re my heroines. #GodBlessTheWoman
Every generation has its own hero, and he is mine. No one can ever come close to him.
Today and always, we celebrate our 001, the Top Shatter General a symbol of courage, resilience, and unwavering commitment to the people.
Your legacy continues to inspire millions, and your sacrifice will forever live on.
Forever our hero. Forever our leader.

To this strong woman who braved trumped up charges in jail, never let it stop her. She came back and started from where she had stopped. To serve, to challenge, to speak against injustice.
Happy Heroes day @linazed2
Supporting @NUP_Ug is a democratic right, not a crime. Bobi Young's prolonged detention robs a family of their breadwinner and mocks our judicial system. The state must halt this constitutional overreach and free him unconditionally! #FreeBobiYoung#RuleOfLaw
Earlier today, the NUP leadership met with Members of Parliament at the party headquarters. We discussed a wide range of issues in readiness for our role, and we also elected leaders of our Parliamentary caucus.
We have held our third induction meeting for our parliamentary caucus where the party top leadership and invited comrades interfaced with our newly elected MPs.
We emphasized that our Members must play a heavy role in advancing the people’s cause for democracy. We also equipped those assigned with parliamentary responsibilities with the vital knowledge to operate within our legislative agenda and manifesto.
At this same occasion, we constituted the leadership of our parliamentary caucus which shall be headed by Hon. Betty Nambooze Bakireke who will be deputized by Hon. Ssebina Gyaviira.
We have resolved to go to Kalangala district and reclaim our position as our candidate gets nominated this Wednesday in the forthcoming byelection.
We are not giving up on the bigger vision of ensuring that our president assumes his rightful place and we take Uganda forward.
