Private renting leaves too many in shocking conditions, paying thousands to landlords each month.
Labour is thankfully strengthening renters’ rights and fixing the broken system.

Ending the freeze on Local Housing Allowance is the single fastest way the government can reverse the deeply concerning rise in homelessness in London and across the country.
Ahead of next week's #AutumnStatement, we've sent a cross-party letter to @Jeremy_Hunt urging an increase in Local Housing Allowance.
With one in 50 Londoners currently homeless and living in temporary accommodation, we need the government to help us address the homelessness emergency unfolding in the capital.
