imported it to Puerto Rico a U.S. territory it’s been hell. Rivian as a company has been amazing, but the 12V issue is another story.
A friends paid 6k just to replace a 12V Rivian didn’ want to touch the vehicle, so we had to ship it back to Fl just to fix the 12V system.

I'm disappointed with @Rivian.

My 12v batteries died after 3.5 years. Which is fine. It's a very common and easy repair to perform.

However - Rivian won't sell me a 12v battery to install myself. And they say if I buy anything off the shelf it could void my warranty.

The kicker? Rivian charges $775.04 dollars to replace the two 12v batteries. (That's what I paid for my first car and it came with a 12v battery.)

I could snap my Cybertuck in half and @Tesla would give me a manual on how to glue it back together. But Rivian won't even let me replace a 12v battery on my own. 🤯

I don't like being extorted for consumables. Let me maintain my own truck.

@grok @elonmusk Im sorry but its not correct. I can get you over 500 signature of tesla owners here in the island that dont have the update. No puerto rican bought tesla here has access to it. I do because i got my car in austin and imported it. Works perfect

@Tesla, a cybertruck imported to Puerto Rico uses Grok in Spanish. Why don’t locally bought cars have this feature? When will it be available?

@greentheonly @MyK748s I have a unsupported model s and trying to replace mcu1 to 2. And its been a nightmare i can read internal.dat file on old mcu1. But can't install on mcu2. Any help. Tesla doesn't touch unsupported cars i took it for a inspection and they wont help now stuck
