@kalaelizabeth Excited to see where they take it from Cyberpunk 2077. If the online component up to par with GTAV Online that would be amazing. Regardless, I believe in CDPR's capabilities and eagerly await to see the fruits of their labour.

@LevityLeviathan IIRC, IDW comics featured the Cybertron war on a galactic scale. The Decepticons even had an invasion SOP for advanced civilizations. IDW has plenty of grounded plot points that would make for a great, mature war story but I think it's difficult to realize that on a big screen.

@Varies_16 Hoping to see how the class divide is dealt with post TFOne. Cogged-TFs would join Optimus, but what would the newly cogged-TFs think? Flipside, Megatron probably dislikes the upperclass, but he cannot rule with brawns alone, and might need some of them to govern his faction.

@DiscussingFilm If this movie "flops", I would blame the marketing and it having such a staggered release schedule world wide. When a Transformers movie releases in my country there would be a lot of ads on traditional media. My local cinema didn't even have any standees. It's quite unfortunate.

@DiscussingFilm As a fan of the franchise, I can finally stop saying that it's "Good...for a Transformers movie", and actually call it a "Good movie". However, it's not without flaws and some aspects could use improvement in the next installment (hopefully they greenlight more).

@AltShiftX It's a great episode, but not a great finale. It would work better as a build up to a finale, where we get to see some of the payoff.

@AltShiftX This episode is just everyone coming to terms with all the things and I think that's fine. However, I think Daemon's subplot is dragging. I hope the payoff is worthwhile.

@DiscussingFilm I understand that TF is an IP created to sell toys, but I do hope they take the more mature route for story-telling this time. The IDW comics introduced a lot of nuance to the Transformers IP and I hope TF One is closer to that than all the stuff we've gotten so far.

@UberNick Difficult to answer this when I've yet to see good open-world in Halo. Not impossible, but not quite suited to most established characters as they're always "on a mission", like Chief. Linear-open is the sweet spot for keeping things on track and giving players room to explore.

@HiddenXperia Action/shooter horror game featuring Marines. Or a action/espionage game featuring an ONI protag with political intrigue. We've had plenty of interplanetary games, I think it would be cool to explore more grounded locations and stories.

@PlaysTFR I'm still of the opinion that Beast Wars was at it's peak when it was it's own thing that was rooted in the main universe. I think it's best if anything Beast Wars related was just DLC/ expansion that either takes places in the past/ future or just something non-canon.

@HiddenXperia I find this and the first trailer very intriguing. If they must build off the first season's writing, then I hope they lean more into the action and grittiness this time around.
