Watching the total eclipse on Monday has had me in deep thought about humanity since then. How miniscule we are in the grand scheme of God's creation. On this planet, in this solar system,in this galaxy, in this universe, in the multiverse, we are but a quantum particle sized grain of sand. Still, we as a society inflict so much hate, trauma, and misery upon each other. So much us against them when we are all here together on this planet. Our survival depends on unity. We can't let greed, seperatisim, destruction, and hatred be the legacy of humanity. All anyone wants in the end is to live in happiness and peace. We all want to just enjoy a healthy life on all levels and see the beauty of this place we call Earth. We need to heal and show respect to our home planet and each other before we expand our explorations outside of our planet. This is what Jesus taught by saying love is the most important thing. This is what all religions teach by saying love one other. We need to listen. One love.

“We’ve been waiting for this for 53 years, and it just feels like the entire city is alive. The biggest city in the country feels like the smallest town in the world.”
