I’d like them to to also understand that

Chronically ill people who have to do things on high symptom days,

Are very very good at masking too

So if we had to go to an appt and couldn’t cancel, we maybe could get there. We maybe could seem “fine”

Maybe we just seem “moody” today vs another day. Maybe we aren’t “talkative” or maybe our tone is different or our energy is “off.”

But… to the naked eye, a casual observer maybe wouldn’t notice a chronically ill individual experiencing high symptom days, even if they did see them outside.
