Time to get to Gethsemane! And do what Jesus did, again and again! He who has an ear...! Lk 21:36, Mt 24:13, Rv 3:21,10,6:6,7:3,9:4, 2Pt 2:9, Is 26:20, Ez 9:4,6
🗣️📢JESUS IS COMING BACK. REPENT!🔊
Mark 1:14-15, "Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
@MikeGadhd@JCRyle No it’s not brother but just an ongoing prophetic word of caution from your maker you wouldn’t want hanging on your head. Shalom brother!
@MikeGadhd@JCRyle You don’t believe God’s but you’d believe mine? Anyways, I have not ideas of mine own except the eternal gospel of the Lord Jesus: Humbly come to Jesus in repentance and faith, and you shall be saved. Mark 1:14-15, Romans 3:23-26, John 3:16,36
It just hit me for the first time that, soooo many decades after Pharaoh killed the newborn babies of the Israelites, God took the firstborn of every Egyptian household. There was not one house without a death the night of the Passover.
You cannot read the Old Testament without learning a couple of things: 1. God tells very long stories, 2. God‘s people can go many, many years without a big moment of interaction or deliverance, 3. God never leaves a narrative unfinished or, to make up a word, unvengeanced.
I truly find the Old Testament as comforting as the New. Mostly because they are one, big, AMAZING story, and He is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow. So how He reveals Himself in the entire long Book is exactly who He is today.
The conclusion? Be on His team, walk in His ways, and pray without ceasing.
In the Bible, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights.
Day 41 came and the rain stopped.
Moses committed murder & hid in the desert for 40 years.
Year 41 came, and God called him to help rescue Israel.
Moses went up on the mountain for 40 days.
On day 41, he received the Ten Commandments.
The Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years.
Year 41, they walked into the Promised Land.
Goliath taunted Israel for 40 days.
Day 41 came, and David slew him.
Jonah preached a message of repentance to Ninevah for 40 days.
On day 41, God stopped His plan to destroy them.
Jesus fasted and was tempted for 40 days.
Day 41, and the devil fled.
After His resurrection, Jesus appeared to His disciples for 40 days.
On day 41, He ascended into Heaven.
All this to say…don’t quit. The rain will stop, the giant will fall, and you will enter your “promised land.” Don’t give up at 40.
41 is coming.
Until we learn to be humble, some of us will not see the glory of God. We think of ourselves as big and good, yet in God’s sight, we’re nothing. Bro., sis., humble yourself!
