Hi @HMRCcustomers - my company Sharesave scheme matures on 1st November, I'm a bit confused between maturity and exercise dates and 90 day rule. Can I split the transfer of my shares to an ISA in this tax year and next year without CGT?
@HMRCcustomers Hi Steve-that's the crux of my confusion, what is defined as "taking the shares out"? When the scheme matures (1 Nov) or when I exercise option? I have 6 months to take option, can I wait until 1 Feb to exercise then have 90 days to make 2 transfers to ISA in 2 tax years?
@HMRCcustomers Hi Steve, I went there first and its not very clear, is says "You must transfer your shares to your ISA within 90 days of when you took out your SIP or SAYE shares", what does took out mean?
@Colchesterviews The world doesn't need all this vitriol (fuelled by social media), drivers make mistakes, cyclists make mistakes, everyone needs to be more forgiving. Jeremy should wear fluorescence if he's worried about his safety and have just forgiven the driver for this honest mistake.
@willquince It's just spin, meaningless without the number who have left the force, like the NHS, can say recruiting 10,000's but still got 150,000 vacancies!
